The fifth grade has just started computer class. We will be working with Microsoft Word to start out the first marking period. The students will learn how to do tasks using Word. One project the class will be doing is to be writing letters to sports teams. The teams usually then send some sort of fan pack back to the children who wrote the letters. Check with you children to see who they wrote too.
The next project we worked on was Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Students designed their own Who Wants to be a Millionaire game using Power Point. Click Below to see an example of a game that a student created.
The final project the fifth grade did was to create web sites based on animals that they researched facts. Take a look at the fifth grade zoo.
