lesson plan won the Grand Prize in the
Atlantic County ETTC sponsored "Technology
In The Classroom Lesson Plan 2000 Contest". The students
created beautiful sculptural masks using the computer for designing
the mask and adding some simple principles of textile design.

Adapted
from the concepts of combining the computer and textiles first
introduced in the African Masks Techstyle Project, students
created lovely butterflies using a scanner and Corel Painter
6.0. |
As part
of our effort to infuse the NJCCCS into our program, these
students created these very sophisticated tessellation designs,
converting them to digital images with the scanner and modifying
them in Adobe Photoshop 5.5. Designs were printed onto
T-shirts.
