2006 National Boyer Best Practice Award for Character Education. One of three schools nationally to receive this award and $10,000 grant.

2006 Kindest School in New Jersey award from Mission Kindness International. [Fourth time in ten years that the students performed the most acts of kindness in the state]

2006 Radio Disney-NJEA Award For Most Books Read by Students in New Jersey. Our students averaged 35 books read during a five month period. [ in State runner up in 2005]

2006 Public Health Partnership Award for the program, “Get Yourself Moving” that teaches children the importance of staying healthy through nutrition and exercise.
