A Message From the Principal
Welcome to the Brigantine Elementary School website.
Our school has an enrollment of 715 children in grades K-4. Additionally, there is a pre-school developmental program for 3 and 4 year olds and three self-contained classrooms for children with special needs. Starting in September 2001, we anticipate six additional half day programs for pre-school children who are four years old.
The school prides itself on its reputation of having an outstanding caring staff of professionals dedicated to providing the best education for its students in a nurturing environment. The school has earned statewide recognition for its character, art, and technology programs. The Brigantine Elementary School has been twice honored as the "Kindest School in New Jersey" by Mission: Kindness International. For the year 2000, the Multicultural Digital Art PowerPoint Portfolios was selected as the "Best Practice" in New Jersey in the category of Arts (Visual and Performing).
