The full-day Kindergarten program allows for an in-depth exploration
of skills in the areas of social, emotional, academic, and
self-awareness. It provides children with more opportunities for the
reinforcement of skills, enrichment of ideas, and development of
responsibility for themselves and for their actions. Rather than
extending the curriculum vertically or imposing excessive structured
paper and pencil activities, additional time available to the
full-day program allows for broadening and enriching curricular
experiences. The primary goal of the full-day kindergarten is to
develop each skill at no expense to the other areas. |
