APPLYING TECHNOTEDDYS ACROSS THE CURRICULUM
Many teachers of other disciplines in our school district infused our Teddy Bear unit into their lessons. Some of the extended activities are listed below.
The children used the theme of Teddy Bears in a physical education obstacle course.(PE)
The children learned Teddy Bear dances. (Dance)
They wrote letters to their friends at the playing school's facilitating an increase in language arts.(LA)
They read stories to each other and to their peers. (Reading)
Geometric shapes discussed during Math time. (Geometry)
The whole project will be brought together at a TechnoTeddy Bear Tea at the completion of the school year, thus facilitating the traveling Teddy Bears time to return home. (Community Involvement)
