Unscheduled School Closings

In the event of stormy weather or other unforeseen reasons causing the closing of school, announcements will be made over the radio/TV stations:

 When severe weather develops during the morning session,. An announcement will be made before noon so there will be no need for parents to wonder if school will be open during the afternoon session.  If no announcement is made from local radio stations, school will operate as scheduled; there is no need to call the office. 

To prevent the loss of school time, the Board of Education has approved a plan to open school late.  We may open school at 9:45 am for fifth through eighth grades.  School buses will pick students up starting at 9:15 am.
